Heart Of The Woods Silksong Location And Quest Details

Navigating through the expansive realm of Pharloom in Hollow Knight: Silksong presents players with intricate secrets and challenging quests. Among the most critical objectives in Act 3 is securing the Pollen Heart during the Heart of the Woods questline. This guide details the exact steps required to locate this hidden area and complete its demanding trials.

Finding the Hidden Entrance in Grand Gate

To reach the Heart of the Woods, players must begin their journey in the Citadel's Grand Gate area. Locate the broken elevator shaft connecting to the Underworks and utilize the Silk Soar ability to ascend into the narrow upper vents. Navigating through the left side of the shaft reveals a concealed, breakable wall that opens up a brand-new route into upper Shellwood.

Navigating the Hazards of Upper Shellwood

Once past the breakable wall, players encounter environmental hazards including deadly white thorns and tricky platforming sections. Dropping down and hitting suspended chains drops heavy blocks to smash through subterranean floors, opening deeper passages below. Careful movement using white flower buds and precise dashes allows Hornet to cross spike pits safely.

Confronting Bosses and Claiming the Pollen Heart

Advancing through the upper corridors forces an encounter with Shrine Guardian Seth, who must be defeated to unlock the doorway ahead. Beyond the arena lies a peaceful building housing a sacred fountain where playing the Needolin with Elegy of the Deep unlocks the dream realm. Defeating the mighty boss Nyleth within this realm rewards players with the essential Pollen Heart needed for main quest progression.
